Welcome to Ticketup. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Ticketup website, mobile application, and related services. By accessing, browsing, creating an account, listing an event, purchasing tickets, or using any feature of the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Platform.
Ticketup is an online event discovery, event promotion, ticket booking, and event management platform that connects event organizers with attendees through a secure and user-friendly experience.
1. Definitions
For the purpose of these Terms:
- Ticketup refers to the event discovery and ticket booking platform.
- Organizer means any individual, business, institution, or organization that creates, manages, promotes, or sells tickets for events through Ticketup.
- Attendee means any user who browses, registers for, or purchases tickets for an event.
- Platform refers to the Ticketup website, applications, and related services.
- Event includes conferences, workshops, exhibitions, concerts, seminars, webinars, sports events, college fests, cultural programs, training sessions, and all other events listed on Ticketup.
2. Eligibility
To use Ticketup, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age or have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
- Provide accurate and complete information during registration.
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials.
Users are responsible for all activities performed through their accounts.
3. User Accounts
When creating an account, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
- Keep your login credentials secure.
- Update your profile whenever your information changes.
- Notify Ticketup immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
Ticketup reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts containing false or misleading information.
4. Free Event Listing
Ticketup offers Free Event Listing to eligible organizers. Submitting an event for listing is free; however:
- Every event is reviewed before publication.
- Listing approval is subject to Ticketup's review process.
- Free listing does not guarantee approval or visibility.
Ticketup reserves the right to reject, edit, suspend, or remove any listing without prior notice if it violates these Terms.
5. Free Event Promotion
Ticketup may promote eligible events free of charge through various marketing channels. This may include:
- Homepage listings
- Featured event sections
- Search results
- Social media promotions
- Email newsletters
- Digital marketing campaigns
Free promotion is provided at Ticketup's discretion and does not guarantee ticket sales, attendee registrations, website traffic, or marketing performance.
6. Event Approval Policy
Ticketup reserves the right to approve, reject, edit, or remove any event submitted to the Platform. Events may be rejected if they:
- Contain misleading or false information.
- Promote illegal activities.
- Violate intellectual property rights.
- Include offensive, harmful, or inappropriate content.
- Do not comply with applicable laws.
- Conflict with Ticketup's policies or community standards.
Approval decisions made by Ticketup are final.
7. Organizer Responsibilities
Event organizers are solely responsible for:
- Accuracy of event information.
- Ticket pricing.
- Venue arrangements.
- Required licenses and permissions.
- Event safety and security.
- Compliance with applicable laws.
- Customer support related to the event.
- Event execution and management.
Ticketup is not responsible for the conduct or quality of events hosted by organizers.
8. Ticket Booking
Attendees may purchase tickets through Ticketup using supported payment methods. By booking a ticket, you agree that:
- All booking information provided is accurate.
- Ticket availability is subject to confirmation.
- Ticket prices are determined by organizers.
- Additional convenience or processing fees may apply.
Once payment is successfully completed, attendees will receive ticket confirmation via the registered email or mobile number.
9. Payments
All payments are processed through secure third-party payment gateways.
Ticketup does not store credit card, debit card, UPI, or banking credentials.
Organizers are responsible for any applicable taxes associated with ticket sales.
10. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Refunds and cancellations are governed by the event organizer's refund policy. Unless otherwise specified:
- Purchased tickets are non-refundable.
- Convenience fees and payment gateway charges may not be refundable.
- Refund requests will be processed only according to the organizer's approved policy.
If an event is cancelled by the organizer, refunds (if applicable) will be processed in accordance with the organizer's refund terms.
11. Event Changes
Organizers may change event details, including:
- Date
- Time
- Venue
- Speakers
- Performers
- Schedule
Ticketup is not responsible for changes made by organizers. Users are encouraged to review event details before attending.
12. Prohibited Activities
Users must not:
- Create fake accounts.
- Post misleading event information.
- Upload malicious software.
- Attempt unauthorized access to the Platform.
- Use Ticketup for fraudulent activities.
- Resell tickets unlawfully.
- Copy or reproduce Ticketup content without permission.
- Interfere with the Platform's normal operation.
Violation may result in account suspension or legal action.
13. Intellectual Property
All content available on Ticketup, including:
- Logos
- Branding
- Website design
- Graphics
- Images
- Software
- Content
- Source code
is the property of Ticketup or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. No content may be copied, reproduced, distributed, or modified without prior written consent.
14. Third-Party Services
Ticketup may integrate with third-party services such as:
- Payment gateways
- SMS providers
- Email services
- Analytics tools
- Social media platforms
- Maps and location services
Ticketup is not responsible for the services, content, or policies of third-party providers.
15. Platform Availability
Ticketup strives to maintain uninterrupted access to the Platform. However, we do not guarantee continuous availability and may experience interruptions due to:
- System maintenance
- Technical upgrades
- Internet connectivity issues
- Third-party service failures
- Unexpected technical problems
16. Limitation of Liability
Ticketup shall not be liable for:
- Event cancellations.
- Changes made by organizers.
- Ticket misuse.
- Organizer misconduct.
- Venue-related issues.
- Technical interruptions.
- Indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of the Platform.
Ticketup acts solely as a technology platform connecting organizers and attendees.
17. Suspension or Termination
Ticketup reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that:
- Violates these Terms.
- Engages in fraudulent activities.
- Provides false information.
- Misuses the Platform.
- Attempts unauthorized access.
Such actions may be taken without prior notice where necessary.
18. Privacy
Your use of Ticketup is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Platform, you consent to the collection and processing of your information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
19. Changes to Terms
Ticketup reserves the right to modify or update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated Terms become effective immediately upon publication. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
20. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from the use of Ticketup shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India.
